Court-Ordered LADC Evaluations
Our licensed alcohol and drug counselors provide comprehensive court-ordered substance use evaluations for individuals, attorneys, and the courts across New Hampshire — with clear, objective reporting to support informed decisions.
A court-ordered LADC evaluation is a formal, clinical assessment of an individual’s substance use history, patterns, and any related concerns — conducted by a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and submitted as a written report to the court.
What it involves
The evaluator conducts a structured clinical interview, reviews relevant records, and may use standardized assessment tools to evaluate substance use history, severity, and treatment needs. The findings are compiled into a written report submitted directly to the court.
What the report covers
Our written evaluation reports include a summary of findings, a clinical assessment of substance use risk and severity, and recommendations for any appropriate treatment or support services — formatted to meet court requirements.
When it’s ordered
Courts typically order LADC evaluations in cases involving DUI or DWI charges, drug-related offenses, family court proceedings, probation requirements, and other situations where a clinical picture of substance use may inform sentencing or case planning.

Our LADCs bring clinical expertise and a respectful, non-judgmental approach to every evaluation. We understand the weight of this process for individuals and work to make it as clear and straightforward as possible.
